I wonder how many of Hollywood’s most influential Christians have actually fled Hollywood? Additionally, I wonder how the list of Hollywood’s 12 most powerful Christians might have looked in 1960, or 1950?

How is it that some Christians look so cool? It seems the very definition of cool is Jesus Christ, right? So why is it that most of us, inculding me, are so uncool? Of course, cool was probably not invented by members of a local Christian hamlet in the middle east 2000 years ago. I’ll definitely be pondering the qualities of cool and how it relates to Christianity.

Your link to the 12 most powerful Hollywood Christians causes me to think… I have two issues. One is the definition of power. The other is the definition of Christian.

Thanks for the mental and faith food.

I think that there is a thin line Christians face on what to do and what not to do while in Hollywood.

Interesting look at church budgets for Christmas productions. Is it worth it? Well, can we really measure the return on investment, given the ripple effect of planting seeds for the gospel? One thing is certain: We have more media vehicles than ever to share God’s truth. If the church isn’t using all available means to spread God’s message to reach every culture and sub-culture, that will mean the kingdom of darkness has free rein to overwhelm every medium with its own message. Hmmm … quite the subject to keep pondering.
